O-R-E-O!

We rarely have store-bought cookies in our house. Mainly because of my love for baking my very own; fresh from the oven, homemade cookies just cannot be beat. However, last week I bought some Oreos. I don't even know if my kids have ever had Oreos... maybe at church or at a friend's, but not here. So, when I pulled out a couple after lunch today I was shocked when Jonah said, "These are the cookies you put in milk." "What?" I said. And again he repeated himself, "You put these cookies in milk." How does he know that? Of course, I then poured each of us some milk for these cookies. I guess advertising works- and he was right, they are the cookies you put in milk. Yum!

little known fact that i can polish off a good portion of a container of oreos in one sitting. i got really good at this during my days of graduate school. a box of oreos, school books and a glass of milk all on the couch with me. fun times!!

How much TV are my grandsons watching, anyway? That's exactly what the commercial shows -- and what we do at Mima's house! Love you all!

Gee, thanks a lot!(jk) I hope all is well and that your scrapbooking was a smashing success. I'm sorry I missed you and my forgetfulness is no indication of how I feel about you! You are such a darling friend and I hope to be able to make the scrapbooking up to you.
